Introduction
This is a selective guide to information resources in
communication sciences and disorders. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of
this field, sources listed here may be located in the Science & Engineering area
on the second floor ("Sci Ref"), in the Reference area on the first floor
("Ref"), or in other parts of the Library, as noted.

Covers nursing, allied health, and consumer health journals. Also covers
dissertations, standards of practice, and other materials. Includes

Cochrane Library
A collection of evidence-based medicine databases. Assesses the
effectiveness and appropriateness of health care interventions--including
medications, surgery, and education--through systematic reviews of
scientific literature. Updated quarterly.

ERIC - Education (EBSCO) [Educational Resources Information
Center] (1966+)
Covers all areas of education and educational psychology. Includes
"documents" (books, reports, conference papers, etc.) and foreign-language
