• BIOSIS Previews (1926+)
  Covers all areas of biology and the biomedical sciences. Includes citations to technical reports and other materials, and foreign-language publications.
• MEDLINE (1946+)
  Covers all areas of clinical and experimental medicine, and supporting biological sciences. Includes foreign-language publications. See the MEDLINE Database Guide for instructions on searching the database.
• The Prokaryotes
  Taxonomic arrangement. Also includes chapters on ecology, physiology, biochemistry, symbioses, and biotechnology.
• PubMed (1946+)
  Includes all material available in MEDLINE, plus "in process" citations, additional life science literature, and older biomedical literature (1950-1965). Includes foreign-language publications.
• SciFinder Scholar (1907+)
  Covers all areas of chemistry and related sciences. Includes citations to patents and other materials, and foreign-language publications.
