Databases

• CINAHL with Full Text [Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature] (1981+)
  Covers nursing, allied health, and consumer health journals. Also covers American Nurses' Association and National League for Nursing publications, dissertations, standards of practice, and other materials. Includes foreign-language publications. See the CINAHL Database Guide for instructions on searching the database.
• Cochrane Collection Plus
  A collection of evidence-based medicine databases. Assesses the effectiveness and appropriateness of health care interventions--including medications, surgery, and education--through systematic reviews of scientific literature.
• MEDLINE [via EBSCOhost] and PubMed (1800s+)
  Covers journals in all areas of clinical and experimental medicine, as well as nursing and other health fields. Includes foreign-language publications. See the MEDLINE Database Guide for instructions on searching the EBSCOhost version of the database. PubMed includes some additional references and slightly more current coverage.
