1. EVENTS
A. WILLIAM S. COHEN PAPERS TRAVELING EXHIBIT MAKES STOPS ON CAMPUS
“Cohen, Congress and Controversy: Rediscovering civics in the archives” is on
display on the balcony in D.P. Corbett Business Building from January 18 to
February 6 and in the lobby at Fogler Library’s mall entrance from February 8 to
March 1. The six-panel exhibit uses facsimiles of photographs, handwritten
notes, speeches and campaign memorabilia from the former congressman’s political
papers to bring the legislative branch into focus. The freestanding display
includes interactive panels designed to appeal to young children.

A. URSUS DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2007
The University of Maine Systems Office has announced that URSUS will be
unavailable on Friday, February 9 for scheduled maintenance. All URSUS modules,
including the online catalog will be affected. Service will be restored by the
end of the business day. They apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
