1. NEWS
A. RENOVATION FOR INFORMATION COMMONS
Work is currently underway at Fogler Library to create an "Information
Commons." An Information Commons is a space where information can be accessed,
absorbed, and actively used for reports and projects.
Fogler Library and Information Technologies are rearranging computer
workstations and furniture to establish an Information Commons on the first
floor of Fogler Library. Work will continue throughout the summer. This new
Information Commons will provide a space for students to interact, to get
technology support and research assistance, and to work together in groups or
individually on course assignments.
