A. FOGLER FILM SERIES
The Fogler Film Series continues on Tuesday, November 19th with "The Grey Area: Feminism Behind Bars." The film will be shown at 7:00 pm in the CETA Classroom at Fogler Library and will be followed by a discussion. For more information, contact Nancy Lewis at <email@example.com> or call 581-3613.
B. STURGE, A MEMOIR BY SANFORD PHIPPEN
Maine author Sanford Phippen will be in Fogler Library's Special Collections at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 21st to talk about his new book, “Sturge, a Memoir.” Sturgis (Sturge) Haskins, who died on September 29, 2012, was a sailor, historian, and adventurer. A pioneer for gay rights, he co-founded the Wilde Stein Club at the University of Maine in 1974, which received national attention in Newsweek, the Washington Post, and across the country.
