The schedule is available at: <http://www.library.umaine.edu/newmedia/>. Additional workshops and registration information will be available soon. A. EARLY ENGLISH BOOKS ONLINE
Early English Books Online (EEBO) is now available via <http://www.library.umaine.edu/indexesdb/Indexes.asp>. EEBO contains digital facsimile page images of virtually every work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North America, and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700. From the first book printed in English by William Caxton, through the age of Spenser and Shakespeare and the tumult of the English Civil War, researchers can view images that accurately reflect the way the works appeared in their original printed editions. EEBO includes titles listed in editions of Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640); Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700); the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661); and the Early English Books Tract Supplement.
A. LIBX TOOLBAR
LibX Toolbar is a web browser extension that allows off-network computers to access Fogler Library subscription resources via the EZProxy server. The Toolbar features direct access to the URSUS catalog, help links, an EZProxy reload link, and LibX preference settings. Loading the toolbar provides EZProxy access to full-text, subscription journals and database resources for off-network computers. It also supports embedded cues at sites like Amazon, Google, New York Times Book Reviews, and xISBN, allowing users to instantly search URSUS for titles in the collection. Visit Fogler's LibX Toolbar page <http://www.library.umaine.edu/staff/libx_guide.htm> for more information and installation instructions.
