A. DIGITAL COMMONS
We are pleased to announce that Fogler Library has acquired the Digital Commons,
institutional repository software. Further announcements will be forthcoming.

B. SUMMER WORKSHOPS
Fogler Library’s Summer Workshop series begins on August 16th. Sessions include
Adobe Suite training and EndNote. The full schedule is posted at <

A. CONTACT FOR ARRANGING LIBRARY RESERVES FOR YOUR COURSES
Peter Altmann is the Library specialist to whom you can submit general queries,
and who will assist with forms and requirements, and troubleshoot issues for you
regarding Library course reserves. Email: <reserve@umit.maine.edu>
or phone: 581-1641.
The Library offers hardcopy and electronic reserves (e-reserves). E-reserves
provide 24/7 access to course material and your home pages via the URSUS

B. LIBRARY INSTRUCTION SESSIONS
As classes get underway we want to remind you that librarians in the Reference
and Science & Engineering departments at Fogler are available to provide
instructional sessions for your students. These sessions can cover specific
databases, or a variety of research materials, that will aid your students in
their class work. For Humanities and Social Science disciplines, contact Nancy
