1.   SERVICES
            A. MATERIAL DELIVERY FOR FACULTY AND STAFF
University of Maine faculty and staff may have materials owned by Fogler Library sent directly to their Orono campus offices.
For Books: find the record in URSUS for an item you wish to request, click request and enter the information requested. In the drop-down menu labeled "Choose a Pickup Location," select "U of Maine - Orono." Circulation staff will retrieve the books from the stacks, check them out to you, and send them through campus mail, usually within 24 hours. Please note that interlibrary loan items cannot be sent to faculty or staff offices.
For Journal Articles: requests for PDFs of journal articles held by Fogler Library may be made through your ILLiad account. Please include a note in the request that this is a document delivery request. If you do not currently have an ILLiad account, you can use the Create Account link from the ILL page <http://www.library.umaine.edu/ill/>
to create one.

Document Delivery staff will post the PDF to your ILLiad account and you will receive an email notifying you of the document’s availability, usually within 1-2 business days of submitting your request. 2. COLLECTIONS
            A. 2009 ANNUAL BOOK OF ASTM STANDARDS - PRINT AND ONLINE
The Fogler Library Science & Engineering Center has received the 2009 ASTM Standards in both print and online formats. ASTM International develops international standards for materials, products, systems and services used in construction, manufacturing and transportation. The 80+ volume Annual Book of ASTM Standards contains all of ASTM's 12,000+ active standards. The print standards can be found in their usual location in the Science & Engineering Center's reference collection with call number TA401 .A653. The online standards can be accessed at the Patents & Trademarks Depository Library workstation, also located in the Science & Engineering Center. Due to our license agreement, this is the only way that we are able to offer the online standards, but users may download and save or email PDFs of standards from this workstation. Faculty members seeking copies of selected 2009 ASTM standards may contact Martin Wallace at 581-1678 or <martin.wallace@umit.maine.edu> with the titles and/or standard numbers and he will download and email PDFs requested.
