A. INTERLIBRARY LOAN AND DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICES
- Interlibrary Loan a Services
Interlibrary Loan Services at Fogler Library will borrow items not
available in our collection for UMaine faculty, staff, and students. (Most items
available in URSUS or MaineCat can be requested directly by UMaine patrons and
do not require the services of Interlibrary Loan staff.) We use the ILLiad
system to manage and track requests and, when possible, to deliver articles
electronically. If you are new to ILLiad, you can view the terms of use and
create an account at <http://illiad.library.umaine.edu/illiad/meu/FirstTime.html>.
- Document Delivery and Scanning Services
Articles available in Fogler Library's print periodical collection can be
scanned and delivered electronically for a nominal fee. Requests can be sent to
<article.requests@umit.maine.edu> or entered into an ILLiad account as an
Article Request (please include the phrase Document Delivery in the note
field). We also offer scanning services of documents, slides and photos.
