Interlibrary Loan

Purpose

The Fogler Library Interlibrary Loan Department works with other libraries and information providers to obtain research materials not held by Fogler Library. Patrons with valid IDs can use the request function to borrow from other URSUS libraries. There is no need to place an interlibrary loan request for items held in URSUS, or in MaineCat. The interlibrary loan staff will search and request items not available through the URSUS request function or MaineCat.

ILL Staff Office

• Regular department hours are Monday-Friday  8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
• If you are a faculty, staff member, or graduate student you can use our Journal Article Retrieval Service for journals held in Fogler Library.
• ILL staff may be reached by phone (581-1671) or by email at illborrowing@umit.maine.edu.
