How to access ProQuest Newspapers:

From on campus:

• Go to the Fogler Library home page (http://library.umaine.edu)

• Click on Databases

• Select ProQuest Newspapers from the A-Z list

From off campus:

• Go to the Fogler Library home page (http://library.umaine.edu)

• Click on Databases

• Select ProQuest Newspapers from the A-Z list

• You will be prompted to enter your name and your 14-digit library barcode (found on the back of your Maine Card).  You must have had your barcode validated at the Circulation Desk in the library.

To access the Wall Street Journal:

  In ProQuest Newspapers, click the Search Methods button on the top menu

• click on the Publication Search tab

• Enter "Wall Street Journal"

• click on Search, then the Wall Street Journal hyperlink

You will have the option to browse individual issues or to search just the WSJ contents.
