Serials Changes for FY09 |
The following changes are proposed for calendar year 2009 subscriptions:
Cambridge University Press Journals
We propose to switch all Cambridge journals to online-only format for 2009. This will enable us to subscribe to the complete Cambridge journals package via the NERL consortium. UMaine would have access to the 230 journals listed at http://journals.cambridge.org/action/bySubjectArea (many more than the titles currently subscribed, listed below), including several titles specifically requested by faculty, such as Journal of Global History, Modern Intellectual History, Journal of French Language Studies, and Animal Conservation. The NERL license guarantees post-cancellation access for the years subscribed, should the library have to cancel any Cambridge subscriptions.
The following titles would be switched to online-only:
