Cohen's schedules record daily events such as committee meetings, press conferences, and meetings with groups and individuals. Cohen launched a "Citizens' Hour" program which was designed to give his constituents an opportunity to talk informally with him about their concerns during scheduled office hours held in district offices and town halls. This was an unusual outreach effort for that time, and Cohen's schedules include appointments for many "Citizens' Hour" sessions held throughout Maine.
