Rob
Gardiner
is Vice President of the Conservation Law Foundation and Director of
CLF’s Maine Advocacy Center. CLF, a New England environmental
advocacy organization, is working to urge key policymakers to
develop a regional strategy for siting liquefied natural gas
terminals in New England as a transitional fuel to a comprehensive
renewable energy base.
Mr. Gardiner was a
member of CLF’s Maine State Board and the Board of Trustees before
beginning his current position. He most recently served as President
of the Maine Public Broadcasting Corporation from 1992 to 2002,
where he was honored as Maine Broadcaster of the Year in 2002. He
served for six years on the PBS board, including two as Vice Chair.
He has also served as Director of the Maine Bureau of Public Lands,
as Executive Director of the Natural Resources Council of Maine, and
for twelve years as a Director of the National Wildlife Federation,
including 1991-1993 as Chairman. |
