Journals Indexed in Agricola. Bibliography of Agriculture (print form of Agricola) can be searched by
subject, author, and geographic location. The Web version can be searched in a variety of ways
including author, title and abstract keyword, and CAB descriptors. From 1979-1985
international in scope. From 1985+ focuses on U.S. related publications. Note that the National Agricultural Library
provides its own Web version of Agricola from
1970 to present.
There is an online thesaurus.

Antarctic Bibliography
This bibliography includes
information on meteorology, geology, oceanography, and biological and
medical sciences. There is both a basic and advanced search. The
bibliography is maintained by the American Geological Institute (AGI).
Arctic Science and Technology
Information System (ASTIS)
A searchable database of over
51,000 records concerning northern Canada. Includes records of
publications and research. Search by broad subjects or geographic regions
or by author, or keyword from title or abstract. Contains almost 5,000 records
related to climatology or meteorology. Maintained by the Arctic
Institute of North America at the University of Calgary.
Bibliography on Cold
Regions Science and Technology
This bibliography includes
information on science and engineering as relates to cold regions facilities and
activities. It also covers human impact on cold regions. There is
both a basic and advanced search. The bibliography is maintained by the
American Geological Institute (AGI).
A Comprehensive Bibliography On The El Niņo Phenomena
A searchable database of El Nino information.
Included are records of journal articles, technical reports, monographs, and
proceedings from 1974 to 2/11/2001. Searching is by keyword from title,

Indexes dissertations from
1861 to present from North American and European institutions. Limited
coverage of masters thesis from 1982 to present. After 1987, abstracts

Information Bridge
A searchable database of U.S. Department of Energy
full-text research and development reports. Search by author, title,
subject, keyword, author affiliation, and a variety of other fields.
Over 58,000 documents that have been received and processed by the Office
of Scientific and Technical Information are included.
Energy
Citation Database
Includes records of technical
reports and papers resulting from research supported by the Department of
Energy (and predecessors). Coverage is from 1948 to present.
Forestry Abstracts*

Index to the world's literature on all aspects of forestry including silviculture, forest mensuration and management, fire,

pollution. Over 3,500 journals and other resources including conference proceedings and technical reports are indexed.
Each issue contains author, subject, and geographic indexes which cumulated annually.

Sea Grant Library Database
A searchable database of over
30,000 publications on Sea Grant funded research. Many of the documents
are available full-text.

Universe*
Searchable index to over
100,000 United States government and privately published statistical sources
including the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service
(NOAA/NESDIS).
Searches can be limited by date and broad region and can be
displayed in a variety of ways (frequency, state, city, etc). Statistical
Universe also includes searchable, full-text access to the Statistical
Abstract of the United States.
Water and Climate Bibliography
A searchable database of
water and climate change literature developed and maintained by the Pacific
Institute. Search by author, title, or keyword. Currently over
3,600 citations + abstracts.
