Use appropriate subject headings for your topic. For example:

Topic = Domestic violence
Subject heading = Family violence

Use URSUS to find books on your topic.
Use online periodicals databases to find articles on your topic. (Use appropriate subject headings)

Use URSUS to locate books and journals in the library. You may also request books and articles from other libraries through your ILLiad account. Create one if you do not already have one http://illiad.library.umaine.edu/illiad/firsttime.html
